Job Description

Avosys is seeking an AI Support Specialist to Design, develop, and implement AI tools, systems, and processes. This can include building models from scratch, integrating new or existing AI solutions, and helping stakeholders understand and adopt AI technology. The specialist will learn and understand existing business processes within various departments (e.g., Operations, HR/Recruitment, Business Development, IT and Accounting) and identify ways to integrate AI solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.  The specialist will also provide PC, Windows OS and Microsoft Office 365 hosted applications - technical helpdesk support to corporate staff.

 

Responsibilities

AI Support Specialist

  • Researching AI Tools: Evaluating and selecting suitable ready-made AI tools (like chatbot platforms or automation tools) based on business needs and workflows.
  • Business Process Integration: Collaborating with different departments to understand their needs and adapt AI solutions to their processes.
  • Implementing and Integrating: Installing, integrating, and configuring AI tools and agents within existing systems.
  • Cloud Tools and Deployment: Support Cloud infrastructure for hosted AI tools, agents and services.
  • Customizing Workflows: Designing and refining workflows that incorporate AI agents to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Providing Support and Training: Assisting users with the adoption of AI technologies, troubleshooting issues, and providing guidance

PC Support Specialist Responsibilities

  • Analyze, configure, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, and resolve PC and Office 365 applications technical support service requests. This includes but is not limited to: Laptop workstations and mobile phone, Windows Operating Systems, Office 365 hosted applications – SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, File Services, Office and onsite Printers, Networks, VPN and Internet connection.
  • Provide remote technical helpdesk support to corporate staff users, workstations, online applications, AI solutions and agents
  • Assist IT Manager with supporting, configuring, and deploying hosted online services, servers and applications and related application security policies and event monitoring.  
  • Responsible for inventory control system of corporate hardware and software purchases and for repair and return and authorizations (RMAs) with hardware vendors.
  • Perform packaging, shipping and receiving of PC hardware to new, existing and termed corporate employees
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as directed by managers.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience

  • Basic Understanding of AI concepts: Machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, etc
  • Proficiency in AI platforms and tools:  AI Models and Agents,  Python, Cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), etc. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills: Ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. 
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Knowledge of data management and security principles
  • Two+ years of hands on experience to troubleshoot, repair, support personal computers hardware, related software, file/print servers, imaging, LAN, Internet access.
  • Able to research new technologies, implement and support its lifecycle responsibly.
  • Must be dependable, trustworthy with confidential information.
  • Have good communication and customer support skills.
  • Able to multi-task and lift/carry objects up to 100 lbs.
  • Have a valid Texas driver license and a vehicle to drive to office and employee locations.
  • May require availability off-hours and weekends.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with management, employees, and customers.
